Amelia is 10 months old!

I can’t believe Amelia is 10 months old! Just one session left, the big ONE YEAR session, before we wrap up her Baby Milestone Plan. have had such a blast photographing cutie Amelia’s milestones this year (check out her 4 month, 6 month, and 8 month photos). She makes every photoshoot a breeze with her adorable personality and happy smiles. This session was extra fun because her momma brought some Halloween costumes for her to show off — she is the cutest little bat and pumpkin ever!

Amelia’s Half Year Photos! | Baby Milestone Photoshoot

I had the pleasure of capturing Amelia’s photos at 4 months old and recently had the opportunity to see her again for her half year photos (6 month photoshoot!). In the past two months she had started getting her baby teeth in, making her even cuter than before!

Princess Leia’s Photos | Menifee Newborn Photographer

What a fitting name for such a perfect little princess! Leia was a dream to photograph, both awake and asleep. At just over a week old, she kept staring straight at my camera when she was awake, but also slept for some of the sweetest sleepy shots. I also got to photograph her big sister and brother, and the three of them were so adorable together!

You’d never know from Leia’s sweet stare that newborns can actually only see clearly from about 8-15 inches away. They also are only awake for about 3 minutes per hour, on average. What an impressive little one! (Info cited from https://www.motherandbaby.co.uk/baby/baby-care/newborn-facts-trivia/)

My newborn sessions include the option to include parents, siblings, and/or family shots. I highly recommend including these shots for a variety of reasons, not the least of which include: showing off how tiny your newborn is in comparison to parents/siblings. And of course, showing the precious new relationships forming with your new baby!

Luna’s Sitter Session | Menifee Baby Photographer

Sitter sessions are always some of my favorite photos to capture! What is a sitter session? It’s just as it sounds — a photoshoot to celebrate the milestone of babies learning to sit on their own! This typically takes place between 6-9 months. Luna was 8 months old at the time of her session and so much fun. She was sooooo wiggly and expressive!

Hi there! Although I’m new to Menifee, I’m definitely NOT new to newborn or baby photography! I’ve photographed hundreds of sweet babies over the past decade. It’s crazy to think how grown so many of those little ones are now (definitely not so little any more!).

I grew up mostly in Northern Utah near Salt Lake City, but I lived in Southern Utah in a beautiful town called St George for the last 12 years with my hubby and 3 kids. Moving has been a big adjustment, but I’m so excited to be here and can’t wait to meet new clients here in Southern California. I lived in California a long time ago when I was little, but my husband was born in Calabasas and grew up in SoCal. An opportunity opened up for us to move here, and we decided to take the leap. It felt like forever waiting for our new house to be built, and now that my studio is up and running all I want to do is fill it with new clients!
