Rylie’s 4th birthday photoshoot

Happy birthday Rylie! Rylie’s 4th birthday photoshoot couldn’t have been more perfect because she is an absolute doll. She walked in and said “My name is Rylie. I’m ready for my photos!”. After raising my own 3 kids and working with little ones for many years, I’m confident to say 4 years old is hands down the cutest age ever, and Rylie proved that point in spades.

I started off with taking photos of her beautiful family. Her little brother is two years old, which is always the trickiest age to photograph, but it all worked out! It was also fun getting shots of just Rylie and each of her parents to capture the bond each of them have. She and her brother loved playing with the balloons I had set up, and I made sure to get as many portraits of beautiful Rylie as she’d allow (which were many, because she was so cooperative, expressive, and as cute as can be).

While I mainly work with infants, I always love when clients contact me to schedule photos for their children as they grow! Every child is so special and unique, and a birthday is an especially fun time to book a photoshoot to celebrate. It’s a boy! | Joey’s Newborn Pics

It’s a boy for this beautiful family, and Joey’s newborn pics were such a blast to capture! Joey and his big sister Melody cooperated so well for some of my favorite sibling photos ever. Melody was so sweet during her baby brother’s newborn session!

Tatum’s 4th birthday | Menifee Child Photographer

I got meet Tatum last year for her baby sister’s 1st birthday photos, and I was thrilled when her momma reached out again to schedule big sister Tatum’s 4th birthday photoshoot. Tatum’s birthday is coming up in May, and her mom wanted to make sure we captured this special milestone. Her mom also wanted to include some family photos, and what a gorgeous family they are! As the session drew to a close, we let Tatum be herself to dance and have fun — 4 years old is such a fun age!

Two year old fun! Menifee Kids Photographer

I’ve been so lucky to photograph sweet H since he was a newborn. Two year olds are notoriously tricky to photograph, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be fun! I followed this cutie around as he played his little heart out and I enjoyed his toddler photoshoot as much as he loved his cars and trucks! DONUT smash 2nd birthday photos!

Are you ready for the cutest 2nd birthday photos ?! Phew, November-January was a whirlwind of babies, babies, babies….plus the holidays and tons of birthdays in my own family. January-February are already pretty much completely booked, but I needed to pop in to get some blogging caught up before I get even more behind.

I have had such a blast every time I’ve had the chance to photograph this cute boy! He has the BEST smile, personality, and CHEEKS…and I’ve been so lucky to take his photos since he was a newborn.

His two year session was SO MUCH FUN…I loved doing a spin on the cake smash theme with donuts instead (his momma brought everything, and she nailed it). Two year olds are notoriously harder to photograph, haha — but R is such a natural and so well-behaved, and once again made my job so easy.
