One whole year. Twelve months of growth and milestones — and this handsome baby boy celebrated it in all-star style with a “My Rookie Year” first birthday photoshoot. I also got to photograph his newborn session, and it was so fun to see him return with so much personality and smiles. Comparing his newborn gallery to his first birthday portraits shows just how much changes in a year. I loved that his big sisters joined in for some sweet sibling photos too!

Keep the setup clean and simple.
The focus should always stay on your baby.
Choose comfortable, neutral outfits
Neutrals photograph beautifully and a comfy baby is a happy baby!
Schedule at 11–12 months.
This allows time to use the photos for birthday invitations or party decor.
Pair it with a newborn session.
