Why 6 Month Baby Photos Are Worth It

6 months is such an important milestone to capture your baby’s rapid development and unique personality. At this stage of life, babies have become more interactive, mobile, and expressive. 

There are so many reasons why you should consider booking a 6-month photo session:

1. Capturing a fleeting stage: Babyhood goes by quickly, just 12 short months. Multiple photo sessions during the first year document growth and provide lasting memories.

Gummy grins and giggles: Six-month-olds often have adorable gummy smiles, giggles, and a fascination with their toes. It’s a great time to document those chubby thighs and wrists before they disappear as your baby becomes more mobile. While not all babies sit unsupported at 6 months, it’s a great portrait pose when they can sit upright.

4. Developmental milestones: At this age, babies are often sitting up, rolling over, and may be close to crawling. These milestones make for amazing photos, and at this age, babies are not yet so active that they’re constantly on the move, making them easier to photograph.
