Riley’s 1st birthday cake smash photos couldn’t have been more fun — she is such an absolutely beautiful baby! She has the BEST hair ever… oh my goodness I LOVE her curls!! She is so photogenic and expressive, and just as cute as it gets.
After moving from Southern Utah to California two years ago, I had to start from scratch with new clients. I absolutely love returning clients and I was over the moon when Riley’s momma reached out for another photoshoot!
Pepper’s strawberry cake smash photos were a hit! I was so excited when Penelope aka Pepper’s momma contacted me to schedule her one year photoshoot after getting to do her 6 month photos earlier this year. Her big sis also joined in for some of the fun.
Booking a 1 year photoshoot with me is easy. First, select your session date and time through this link and pay the session fee. Then, fill out my questionnaire so we can work together to customize a session unique to your little one! Cake smash sessions typically start off with portraits (with optional family and/or sibling shots), and end with the cake smash. My favorite way to end a cake smash session is with baby tub photos! Babies absolutely love it. Within two weeks after your session, I’ll email you a password protected gallery from which you’ll select your digital image downloads and/or optional print products. Babies only turn one once — make it extra special with a cake smash photoshoot!
Meeting Josie and her parents was such a treat! I had recently bought some butterfly decor for my studio, so I was excited when her momma requested a butterfly theme! This little brown-eyed beauty is so photogenic, and she made creating some beautiful photos for her first birthday a dream.
Dayven’s Lion Wild One Cake Smash was a hit! Cutie Dayven, his parents and big brother drove to my home studio in Menifee from the Anaheim area for his first birthday cake smash photoshoot. Because he’s a Leo, he had a Wild One lion theme for his session. He was a bit scared of my studio light, and wanted to snuggle his momma a bit, but it all worked out in the end. I had so much fun with Miles’ 1st Birthday Cake Smash! I first met Miles’ family a few years ago when I got to photograph his big sister for HER 1st birthday cake smash. It was so fun to see his momma and big sisters again. Miles is as cute as can be with his blond curls and stunning blue eyes!
Enzo celebrated his first birthday in style with a race car cake smash photoshoot! Enzo’s momma owns a party decor business, and she always brings such fun and creative elements. We started the session focusing on just baby, and ended with some tub shots to wash off all that frosting! 😉 Happy 1st birthday, Enzo!

I had so much fun setting up for little beauty Camila’s 1st birthday cake smash session! Her upcoming birthday party will be a Tangled theme, so I wanted to incorporate some beautiful gold and lavender colors by making a balloon garland. Her momma wanted some family and parent shots, so we started off with some family photos, then got some sweet shots of little Camila showing off her pretty dress. She wasn’t very sure about her cake or the strange lady pointing a camera at her 🙂 but I hope she will have a blast celebrating her big day next week! I love personalizing each baby’s session according to their own personality and whatever parents would like to highlight their little one. First birthday sessions can include a cake (also known as a smash cake session or cake smash session) plus baby bath shots at the end (I have a few baby-sized tubs that are absolutely adorable), making these sweet sessions extra fun!
