Beautiful little Yailene’s 6 month photoshoot was an absolute delight! I highly recommend a 6 month session to capture this extra sweet and happy stage during baby’s 1st year. Zoey’s newborn photoshoot took place when she was just 12 days new. We had envisioned capturing lots of sweet sleepy photos, but this little one had other plans. Zoey was determined to soak in every moment, and seemed to know how adorable she is as she stared intently into my camera. She is such a photogenic baby girl!

Breaking news: Benjamin is going to be a big brother! I got to meet this cutie earlier this year for his first birthday photoshoot. Can you believe this little guy with an amazing head of hair and photogenic smile is only a little over a year old?! I was so excited when Benjamin’s mom contacted me to say she’s expecting baby number two. And I was even more thrilled when she told me about the creative theme she chose to announce the exciting news!
For this special pregnancy announcement session, Benjamin’s momma brought along a cool car, a newspaper announcing her big news, a dashing suit and an even more dashing big-brother-to-be. It was such a fun theme to bring to life, and I loved making it become a reality for this growing family. Benjamin was a total natural in front of the camera as always. What a fun experience it was to capture Malia and McCoy’s first birthday photos! Twins cake smash photos are truly double the fun. Malia is such a beautiful baby girl and McCoy is so cute with his big brown eyes. Their big brothers got to sneak in for some sibling photos too.

Chidike was just 7 days old at the time of his photoshoot, and he was absolutely perfect. As a newborn photographer, I’ve had the privilege of working with preemies to overdue babies and everything in between, from the tiniest 4 pound little ones and even a whopping 11 pounder! There is something extra special about photographing premature babies like little Asher. I was so glad his momma reached out to me from Murrieta when she was looking for a newborn preemie photographer.
Preemies like Asher are little fighters from the moment they enter this world. Asher made his early arrival at just 33 weeks and spent his first month in the NICU. At the time of his newborn session, he was a little over a month old, but still hadn’t even reached his due date! This tiny guy was the epitome of newborn sweetness. He still instinctively curled up as newborns often do, mimicking how they would curl up in their cozy womb.

I had the pleasure of meeting this sweet boy for his newborn photos and I’m so glad his momma brought him back for 6 month photos! Sweet little D’Angelo was just 4 days new at the time of his newborn photoshoot. As you might notice, there’s a certain pose in his gallery I don’t usually do because I normally do more baby-led posing, while this pose is a composite. His momma specifically requested it, and she knew how to assist me in capturing it safely, and I must say it turned out so adorable! I also loved the blues and greens his momma requested, which changed things up from my typical white and neutral backgrounds. The bold navy was an especially nice color for D’Angelo! His daddy was wearing a Dodgers jersey to the session and I knew it would be a favorite color for them. D’Angelo did so well and I laughed when he suddenly opened his eyes and looked at me like “ok I’ve been really good, are you done yet?!”.
