I’ve always loved babies and art. In college, I considered studying neonatology, but an art scholarship led me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts with an emphasis in figure drawing and portrait painting.
After graduating, getting married, and welcoming two little boys just 16 months apart, I found myself missing the creative outlet of drawing and painting. Photography quickly became my “art fix,” and my favorite subjects were, of course, my own kids.
In 2008, I began to pursue photography as a business, though I pressed pause after my daughter was born in 2010 so I could savor those early years with her and my boys. When she started school in 2015, I returned to photography full time.
Since then, I’ve had the privilege of photographing hundreds of babies, children, and families. Those first few priceless years go by in an instant, and I feel grateful to help preserve such meaningful memories through my work.
