Winchester Baby Photographer | From Southern Utah to Southern California
Hands down, the most meaningful part of being a photographer is building relationships with so many incredible families over the years. Leaving Southern Utah behind after raising my family there for 12 years and working with hundreds of photography clients was bittersweet.
I actually met this gorgeous baby girl and her parents while living in Utah, and photographing her newborn and 1st birthday photos was such a special full-circle experience. My final month in Utah was a complete whirlwind filled with packing and preparing for our move, and squeezing in as many client sessions as possible before heading to California. Even in the middle of the chaos, I absolutely loved staying extra busy with so many photoshoots including this little beauty's first birthday session with a cake smash.
As I officially kick off my California blog, it feels only fitting to share this beautiful family’s journey first.
Newborn to One
It is amazing how quickly babies change during that first year. The tiny, sleepy newborn I photographed last year transformed into a smiling, curious little girl bursting with the cutest personality ever. Her first birthday session perfectly captured her adorable expressions, growing independence, and playful spirit.
Beginning a New Chapter in Southern California
Moving from Utah to California marked a huge new chapter for both my family and my business. After spending over a decade in Southern Utah, relocating to Southern California has been a lot of work but lots of fun.
